The Gardiner-Reedsport Lions are beginning to launch one of their major fund-raisers that support their charitable giving. Beautiful Hanging Baskets for Mother’s Day are on sale now by the Lions.
Each 10” basket contains five healthy professionally grown plants. Two Hundred and Twenty baskets have been ordered. Half the baskets will have Impatience as the dominant group surrounded by Lobelia and Bacopa; the other half will have Trailing Pansies as the dominant flower with Impatience, Lobelia and Bacopa. Ordered Baskets may be picked up at Circle Drive at Reedsport Charter School on Saturday May 9th from 9-Noon. If you want them early they can be picked up on Thursday and Friday May 7th & 8th at 230 East Railroad Ave from noon to 4 PM.
All proceeds from the sales goes to support local charitable projects such as eye glasses and hearing aids for the disadvantaged, shoes and coats for kids, the Cub Scouts, Project Blessing, Christmas Tree of Giving, Christmas in July as well as for Canine Companions and the Oregon Sight and Hearing Foundation and many more.
