For a town of less than 4500 people, Reedsport, Oregon has a fairly diverse restaurant scene.
For great breakfasts and family meals with regional ingredients check out the Harbor Light Family Restaurant. If you’re looking for coffee, sandwiches, or live music head down to Jitterbug N Java. Ruthie’s back to the best offers great sandwiches and soups in mid-town as well as super coffee!
Bedrock’s offers pizza and breakfast uptown and next door Don’s Diner and Ice Cream Parlor offers a tasty menu and the best pies on the coast. The Sugar Shack downtown is the go to place for donuts and baked sweets, and a short drive down to Winchester Bay opens the door to Fishpatrick’s Crabby Cafe, Bedrock’s on the Bay, and Kitty’s Kitchen is Christmas forever.
For Chinese you can visit Ocean Garden or for Mexican you can go to Mexican Express, Aztlan, or Sol De Mexico. If you want something to drink you can go to the The Waterfront Lounge and Restaurant, Double D on the Rocks in Winchester Bay, the Lakeshore Lodge, or the Schooner Inn Cafe.
For healthy options check out Reedsport Natural Foods or for fast food look for McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Subway, or the locally owned King Neptune Drive in. In addition there are Leona’s family restaurant, the Sand Buggy Inn, and more.
My favorite fish and chips place is Ungers on the Bay which is actually a floating restaurant in Winchester Bay’s Salmon Harbor.
